Albuquerque Convention Center

Project Summary

Chaparral Materials is currently working on the $25 million Albuquerque Convention Center renovation. This two-phase remodel is being built by Bradbury Stamm and Gerald Martin Construction. Chaparral Materials supplied the Sto for Phase I (the East Building) and Gossett Brothers completed the steel and drywall work. In Phase II (the West Building), Chaparral Materials is partnering with Cal Ply and Empire Builders LLC to complete the steel and drywall. Eagle Rock Contractors installed the Armstrong Acoustical Ceilings, and Southwest Lath and Plaster used gold coat and gold fill for EIFS. Sto 296 and Sto 297 was used as the finish, while Precision Metallic High Gloss white was used for the exterior detail and Sto 299 was used on the interior.
