Loma Colorado

Project Summary

Chaparral Materials was pleased to work with Pulte Homes Inc., a Fortune 200 developer, in creating their master planned community of Loma Colorado in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The development sits on 433 acres and has 1,030 housing units. Chaparral supplied the drywall and MI Windows for the five model types, with a choice of 16 different floor plans. Loma Colorado opened its first models for sale in August 2007 and has been Pulte’s best-selling subdivision in New Mexico. Loma Colorado also won the 2008 Innovation in Planning Award from the New Mexico chapter of the American Planning Association.
